Bike Pack
diving into design for manufacturing by creating a custom bike cargo rack
The Bike Pack is a custom-made and designed bike cargo rack. It has a subtle hook attachment so that a backpack can be easily attached for more comfortable and enjoyable bike racks. Some of the key considerations in the design were making the design simple enough to be used as a normal bike rack while also adding design touches for a personal and sophisticated look. This project taught me to work with new manufacturing processes as well as becoming more familiar with precision design and engineering.
