Taking into account the artistic visions of the director while still keeping my individual voice present
I was the head costume designer for Stanford Light Opera Company’s ’18 production of Phantom of the Opera. I worked closely with the director and producer to bring their artistic vision to life as well as adding my own touches to the overall design. It was quite challenging as I had to work with a very tight budget for such a heavily costumed production. Despite this I still tried to pay particular attention to how all of the costumes would come together as part of the scenic composition
